New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- A man from Jammu and Kashmir was arrested near the Red Fort for allegedly impersonating a National Investigation Agency (NIA) officer and deceiving vulnerable youths by promising them jobs in Delhi, police said on Thursday.
The arrest took place on Wednesday when a patrolling team from Kotwali Police Station spotted a black Hyundai Santro with registration number JK01L9913 parked suspiciously behind the Red Fort, near Delhi Chalo Park.
During the inspection, two people were found inside the vehicle, one identified as Mudassar, a resident of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, along with a minor boy.
