Mathura, Aug. 23 -- The 30-year-old woman from Punjab who was found dead in a guest house at Pushpanjali Baikunth Residential Colony in UP's Vrindavan was allegedly murdered by guest house operator, Sunil, following a dispute over money, police said, adding the suspect was arrested today.

Police said Sunita had been staying at the guest house built atop Mukundam temple in Rukmini Vihar Colony for the past five days. She was dropped off by a friend of Sunil, with whom she was in contact. On Thursday afternoon, a quarrel broke out when Sunita asked Sunil for money. In a fit of rage, Sunil allegedly strangled her to death, locked the room, and fled the scene, police said.
