Kochi, March 25 -- Alleging a political understanding between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Kerala, senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala on Wednesday claimed that the BJP has entered into an unwritten alliance with the Chief Minister to sideline the Congress, isolate the UDF, and further the goal of a "Congress-free India."He alleged that during the 2021 Assembly elections, BJP votes were transferred to the CPI(M) in 69 constituencies as part of this understanding, which, he claimed, helped the ruling front retain power in Kerala.
