Kolkata, Aug. 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a blistering attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), accusing them of siding with infiltrators at the cost of the state's youth and women.

Speaking at a rally in Dum Dum jail ground here, Modi said infiltration had become a "national problem" and warned that India would not tolerate it any longer.

"Who can save Bengal from infiltrators? It is your vote, not Modi or BJP. Infiltrators are snatching jobs from our youth, pressuring the government, and harassing our mothers and sisters. We will not tolerate this," he said.
