New Delhi, March 26 -- The Modi Government on Thursday informed the Lok Sabha that modernisation work is in progress at 13 major railway stations in Delhi under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, with upgrades focused on passenger amenities and infrastructure.

In a written reply to a query by South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that work is advancing at multiple stations, including New Delhi, Old Delhi, Anand Vihar, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi Cantt, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Sabzi Mandi, Safdarjung, Tilak Bridge, Adarsh Nagar, Bijwasan and Narela.
