Ranchi, March 28 -- The entrance examination for admission to Class 6 in 82 model schools run by the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) for the 2026-27 academic session was conducted peacefully across the state on Saturday.
The examination, organised by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), was held at 60 centres across 19 districts from 11 am to 1 pm.
Officials said the test was conducted in a smooth and orderly manner under the supervision of district administrations, district education officers and centre superintendents.
The 100-mark multiple-choice examination included questions from English, Mathematics and Social Science. Merit lists will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates.
