Bengaluru, March 27 -- Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Friday defended legislators' requests for complimentary Indian Premier League tickets, describing their enthusiasm for sports as a positive sign rather than a cause for controversy.
"I like it because they show so much interest in sports. It is a good development," Parameshwara said as he pushed back against criticism and termed request a sign of growing engagement with sports among public representatives.
