Chandigarh, Jan. 29 -- Senior Punjab leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira has moved a formal representation to the Governor of Punjab, seeking his immediate intervention to safeguard the principles of transparency and merit in the state's recruitment processes.
In a memorandum submitted to Raj Bhavan, Khaira highlighted "serious irregularities" in the functioning of the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB), specifically regarding the abrupt removal of mandatory qualifying benchmarks for government jobs.
The legislator drew the Governor's attention to the corrigenda issued in June 2022 for several recruitment advertisements, including Advt. Nos. 09/2022, 10/2022, and 11/2022.
