Shimla, Feb. 17 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu informed the Assembly on Tuesday that a decision regarding the release of pending MLA discretionary grants would be taken soon after consultation with all legislators.
Intervening during Question Hour, the Chief Minister said the state government intends to take all MLAs into confidence before arriving at any decision on the issue. He clarified that the discretionary grants of all MLAs have been withheld following the decision of the 16th Finance Commission to discontinue the Revenue Deficit Grant (RDG) for Himachal Pradesh.
