Aizawl, Jan. 22 -- In a bid to address low milk production and strengthen the dairy sector, the Mizoram Milk Producers Cooperative union Limited (MULCO) on Thursday entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) for the development of milk production and dairy processing in the state.
The MoU, aimed at providing a structured and technology-driven push to the dairy sector, was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Lalduhoma and Cooperation Minister P.C. Vanlalruata. The agreement marks a significant step towards aligning Mizoram's dairy development efforts with the Ministry of Cooperation's flagship programme, White Revolution 2.0.
