Aizawl, Sept. 19 -- Mizoram continues to battle the growing drug trafficking issue, with narcotics being smuggled through the state's porous borders, particularly in areas like Serchhip district, which lies along the international boundary, Chief Minister Lalduhoma said today.

The Chief Minister highlighted this ongoing crisis while inaugurating the Additional District & Sessions Judge Circuit Court at the Serchhip District Court today.

He expressed concern over the rising drug-related cases and the alarming increase in Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) cases in the region.
