Aizawl, Feb. 5 -- Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma, who also holds the finance portfolio, will present the state's annual budget for the 2026-27 financial year along with the supplementary demand for grants for 2025-26 in the state legislative assembly on February 19.
The schedule was finalised at a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly held on Thursday and chaired by Speaker Lalbiakzama. The Speaker said the decision was taken after consultations with leaders of various parties represented in the House.
This will be the third budget to be presented by Lalduhoma since the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) assumed power in the state on December 8, 2023, ending a decade-long MNF rule.
