Aizawl, May 18 -- Mizoram Police on Sunday dismissed as false the social media rumours claiming that Paojakhup Guite, president of the Delhi chapter of the Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO), had been arrested at Lengpui Airport near Aizawl. Senior police officials clarified that there was no truth to the viral claims, which had been widely circulated across various platforms. Inspector General of Police (Headquarters) H Ramthlengliana and Aizawl district Superintendent of Police Rex Zarzoliana Vanchhawng both confirmed that they had no information regarding any such arrest at the airport on Saturday.
