Hyderabad, Dec. 29 -- The Miyapur Police Station on Monday arrested two drug peddlers and seized 10.5 grams of MDMA near Miyapur X Road in the Cyberabad limits.
Acting on credible information, the police conducted a swift operation and apprehended Kethavath Ravi (28), a mason, and Jerpula Ravi (35), an auto driver-both residents of Maharashtra-while they were allegedly in possession of the banned drug intended for sale during the New Year season, police said.
During interrogation, the duo confessed to procuring the MDMA from Mumbai on December 27 with plans to sell it in Hyderabad for monetary gain.
