Washington, March 28 -- Japan's Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara reclaimed the pairs title at the 2025 World Figure Skating Championships in Boston, edging out Germany's Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin by 0.71 points.

Miura and Kihara, last year's silver medalists, led the German pair by 2.98 points after Wednesday's short program.

Despite minor flaws in their free skate, they ultimately secured the victory with a total score of 219.79 on Thursday.
