Pune, Feb. 3 -- Tanu Bhan, a Junior Under Officer (JUO) from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit and cadet Venkatesh Iyer, both from MIT Art, Design and Technology (MIT-ADT) University here were felicitated by the institution on Tuesday.
Tanu Bhan created history by being adjudged the Best NCC Cadet of the country at the prestigious NCC Republic Day Camp (RDC) held recently in New Delhi. Representing the 36 Maharashtra Battalion, she was awarded the gold medal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in recognition of her exceptional performance.
