Hyderabad, Aug. 25 -- The Telangana State Child Rights Commission has extended financial assistance to the family of the boy injured during the benefit show of the Telugu film Pushpa at Sandhya Theatre, Hyderabad.
With the special initiative of Commission Chairperson Kothakota Seetha Dayakar Reddy, the elder sister of the injured boy is receiving financial support under the Central Government's Mission Vatsalya scheme.
As part of the scheme, the girl child will be provided Rs 4,000 every month until she turns 18. So far, a total of Rs 12,000, covering the past three months, has been directly deposited into the family's account to support her education.
