Hyderabad, June 3 -- Telangana Tourism Minister Jupalli Krishnarao on Tuesday clarified that around Rs. 30 crore was spent on organizing the Miss World pageant, through which Telangana showcased its greatness to the world.

Of the total cost, Rs 21 crore came from sponsors and the remaining Rs 9 crores was the actual cost of the government, Jupalli said in a press conference along with Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat here.

The Miss World 2025 competition, held in Hyderabad to promote Telangana's tourism, culture, and traditions, was a great success, he claimed, and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the Miss World event an unprecedented triumph.
