New Delhi, Nov. 17 -- Tokyo Olympics silver medal-winning weightlifter Mirabai Chanu was adjudged as the 'Sportsperson of the year' by Delhi Sports Journalist Association (DSJA).
The Padma Shri awardee was honoured at the DSJA's Annual Awards Ceremony on Sunday at the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA). The event was graced by Rohan Jaitley, President, DDCA, and Virendra Sachdeva, President, Delhi BJP and Secretary General, Archery Association of India.
Three senior journalists Pradeep Magazine, Vipin Bahuguna, and K.P. Mohan were honored for their significant contributions to sports journalism. Their compelling stories have beautifully captured some of the most memorable moments across various sports.
