Bengaluru, March 10 -- Amid reports of cooking gas shortages affecting restaurants in Bengaluru, union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri is personally monitoring the situation to ensure uninterrupted supply, union Minister Shobha Karandlaje said on Tuesday.

She said that Puri is conducting daily checks across the city to prevent disruptions and stabilise supplies.

"There have been reports that restaurants in Karnataka and other parts of the country are facing shortages of gas. I met Minister Hardeep Puri today regarding this issue. He is actively monitoring the situation and personally overseeing supply arrangements," Karandlaje told reporters.
