Mahabubnagar, June 12 -- Telangana Minister for Culture, Tourism and Archology V Srinivas Goud has opened the district Museum to the public here on Wednesday.
The Museum was constructed with the 13th Finance Commission Central funds and district funds.
The antiquities and Artifacts displaced in this museum are collected from various places of Mahabubnagar district and unearthed from Departmental Excavated site like Peddamarur, Chinnamarur, Amrabad and Utnoor.
The Antiquities displayed in the museum are Pre-historic tools like Paleolithic, Neolithic and Mesolithic stone implements, Megalithic pottery, Bronzes, Arms and Weapons, Bidriware, Celadon ware , Enamelled ware and coins.
