Mumbai, May 14 -- Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Wednesday directed that the purchase and sale transactions of all temples in the state should not be registered without the permission of the competent authority or unless there is a court order.

Speaking at a review meeting organised in Mantralaya here regarding the land of Western Maharashtra temple, he said that the process of formulating a policy at the government level in accordance with the temple gift income is underway.
