Mexico City, Dec. 17 -- Mexico will ramp up preparations for next year's FIFA World Cup with friendly matches against Panama, Bolivia, and Iceland, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) announced. The fixtures are part of El Tri's buildup ahead of co-hosting the tournament with the United States and Canada.
El Tri, which will co-host football's showpiece tournament with the United States and Canada, will travel to Panama City for a clash against Panama on January 22 before another away fixture against Bolivia in Santa Cruz three days later. Javier Aguirre's side will then host Iceland in Queretaro on February 25.
