Shillong, July 25 -- The Meghalaya government today signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 12 national technical and research institutes to foster entrepreneurial ventures at the grassroot level, an official said here.



The MoUs were signed at the "Summit for Rural Empowerment: Leveraging Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM)" hosted by Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) in the presence of Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister, Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh and Chief Executive Officer of MBMA, Dr. Vijay Kumar.
