Shillong, Feb. 13 -- In an apparent case of medical mis-judgement related to the dynamite blast at the Myngsnat-Thangsko coal mine in Meghalaya's East Jaintia Hills, an injured man who was declared dead was later found to be alive to the respite of his family.
Family members of the 44-year-old Shyambabu Singha had performed his last rites, believing he had succumbed to his injuries in the February 5 dynamite explosion.
However, Singha's family members later discovered that they had mistakenly taken the body of another victim to their native place in Karimganj, Assam.
