Shillong, Dec. 9 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Tuesday stated that the growing number of major concerts across the Northeastern states should be seen as a collective regional benefit, not a matter of competition.
Sangma made this statement in response to his Assam counterpart Himanta Biswa Sarma's declaration to make Guwahati as one of the top global concert destinations.
"It's a healthy competition. I always positive competitiveness is very important and it is promoting the north east as a destination," the Chief Minister said.
