Shillong, Feb. 5 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Thursday reaffirmed the government's commitment to entrepreneurship as a core pillar of the State's economic strategy and highlighted national recognition for Meghalaya's startup ecosystem.
Addressing the PRIME Meghalaya programme, Sangma noted that entrepreneurship can work wonders for the state and the nation.
"It (entrepreneurship) is important for any sector to develop and hence the economic agendas, infrastructural developments, the mission mode programmes, schemes and policies of the state government are linked to entrepreneurship," he told the entrepreneurs gathered at the scenic Ward's Lake here.
