Shillong, Jan. 29 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and briefed him on the state's development trajectory and long-term growth.

Sangma sought enhanced support from the Centre to sustain economic growth under Meghalaya's Vision 2032 roadmap.

The CM submitted a set of documents to the Prime Minister detailing Meghalaya's development progress, future vision and key proposals seeking continued support from the Centre.

These included a note on the state's development achievements, Vision 2032 for sustained economic growth, and proposals aligned with the national goal of Viksit Bharat.
