Tura, Nov. 8 -- Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Saturday inaugurated the new office building of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) at Dakopgre area here in West Garo Hills district.

The inauguration of the MPSC office marks a major step towards decentralising public service recruitment in the state.

The new MPSC office will conduct examinations, interviews, and related recruitment activities locally, easing travel burdens for candidates and improving access to government employment opportunities in the Garo Hills region.
