Baghmara (Meghalaya), Jan. 20 -- Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Tuesday interacted with district administration officials, community and other stakeholders of South Garo Hills district. Sangma was accompanied by Chief Secretary Shakil P Ahammed and senior government officials.
Key issues that cropped up at the meeting were medical specialists not joining their posts at Baghmara, general manpower shortage, infrastructure upgrade, the need for a post-operation ward and ambulance services, water shortage at the government hospital and renovation of staff quarters.
