Shillong, March 16 -- Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, Revati Mohite Dere on Monday underscored the importance of mediation as a constructive and effective means of resolving conflicts in today's fast-paced world.
Addressing a day-long seminar on "mediation: concepts and techniques" organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority in collaboration with the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, the Meghalaya State Judicial Academy, and the High Court Mediation Committee, Meghalaya, Dere also urged stakeholders to treat mediation as a mainstream remedy for everyday conflicts.
