MCD committees give series of suggestions on sanitation, health, education, revenue

New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has initiated the process of finalizing the Revised Budget Estimates and the Budget Estimates for 2026-27.

In this sequence, a special meeting of the Standing Committee was convened on Tuesday, during which the Chairpersons of six special and ad hoc committees of MCD presented budget proposals related to their respective departments.

Detailed budget proposals were presented by the Chairpersons of the DEMS Committee, Works Committee, Health Committee, Education Committee, Horticulture Committee and Rural Committee.
