Dharamshala, Aug. 20 -- A case of alleged admission fraud has surfaced at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC), Tanda, in Kangra district, where fake documents were reportedly used to secure an MBBS seat.

According to principal Dr. Milap Sharma, the fraud came to light yesterday during the ongoing admission process, when the scrutiny committee found irregularities in the certificates submitted by a student named Rashi from Dhaniata, Hamirpur. The seat she claimed on merit number 108 had already been allotted by the university to another candidate, Ashlesh Sahni.
