Chandigarh, Jan. 17 -- Chandigarh Mayor Raj Bala Malik on Friday called a meeting of all the sanitary inspectors in the conference hall during which S.K. Jain, Additional Commissioner, Dr. Amrit Pal Singh, MOH and all the Chief Sanitary Inspectors, Sanitary Inspectors were present.
During the meeting, the Mayor directed the inspectors to ensure proper cleanliness in their respective areas. She asked the MOH to keep special focus in the rural areas and slums for sanitation and shortcomings be fixed at the earliest.
The Mayor asked the MOH to keep all the cattle ponds neat and clean and lift cow dung lying outside the ponds. She asked to ensure the proper monitoring of mechanical road sweeping during night time and maintain proper duty rost...
