Lucknow, Feb. 7 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati on Saturday again placed strong emphasis on the concerns of the Brahmin community while reviewing the party's preparedness for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections due next year.

Addressing a large organisational meeting of BSP office-bearers from the state to booth level, Mayawati asserted that no other party had respected, empowered and protected Brahmins as sincerely as the BSP during her tenure.

The meeting, attended by senior leaders and grassroots functionaries, focused on intensifying election preparations and strengthening the party organisation.
