Prayagraj, Jan. 25 -- Bareilly violence mastermind Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan has moved the Allahabad High Court seeking bail.
Tauqeer Raza Khan filed a bail application in the court on Friday.
He has challenged the Bareilly court's decision to reject his bail application, in the Allahabad High Court.
Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, the head of the Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC), is currently lodged in the Fatehgarh Jail. He filed a bail application in the Allahabad High Court after his bail plea was rejected by the Bareilly court.
The Bareilly court rejected Tauqeer Raza's bail application in November 2025.
The violence took place in Bareilly on September 26, 2025, sparked by the "I Love Muhammad" campaign.
