Daltonganj, Feb. 14 -- A 16-year-old matriculation student was found hanging at his residence in Halumad village in Palamu district on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Abhay Kumar, son of Sanjay Singh.
According to local sources, the teenager had appeared for his matriculation English examination on Friday. After returning home, he had dinner and went to sleep. He was found hanging inside the house the following morning.
At the time of the incident, only Abhay and his younger sister were present at home. Their parents have been working as labourers in Hyderabad for the past several months and had left the children in the village. They have been informed about the incident.
