Mathura, Feb. 19 -- Continuing its "zero tolerance" policy against criminals and mafia elements in Uttar Pradesh, the Mathura police seized illegal immovable property worth approximately Rs 9.5 crore on Thursday.

According to the Govind Nagar police station, the illegal property belonged to two accused booked under the Gangster Act.

The seizure proceedings were conducted in the presence of a heavy police force and administrative officials, accompanied by public announcements made with drums to formally declare the confiscation.
