Ranchi, Dec. 17 -- : Jharkhand Master Athletics Association secretary Laxman Ram attended the Annual Meeting of the Masters Athletics Federation of India (MAFI) held in Bengaluru, where key decisions regarding athlete selection were announced.
MAFI informed that only athletes qualifying at the National Masters Athletics Championships, scheduled from January 28 to February 1, 2026, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, will be eligible to participate in the World Masters Games to be held in South Korea in August 2026. The federation clarified that past results will not be considered and selection will be strictly based on performance at the national event.
