Bhubaneswar, Feb. 24 -- A fire tore through a wholesale supermarket in the Odisha capital late Monday night, destroying property and triggering an all-night firefighting operation. The incident occurred near Lingipur in the Dhauli area of Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, the fire was first noticed by local residents around 10 pm on the third floor of the four-storeyed Super Mart building. The flames quickly engulfed the entire floor, fueled by highly inflammable materials stored inside the premises, particularly plastic goods.
