Dehradun, Jan. 28 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that marriages solemnised on the false identity of a person will be annulled. Dhami also assured strict measures by his government against people resorting to polygamy.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Chief Minister stated that his government recently made necessary amendments in the Uniform Civil Code of Uttarakhand (UCC), inducting a provision for nullifying marriages conducted on false identities.
