New Delhi, April 27 -- The Indian Stock Market on Monday rebounded after three sessions of losses. At close, Sensex settled 639.42 points or 0.83 percent higher at 77,303.63, while the broader Nifty climbed to 24,092.70, up 194.75 points or 0.81 percent. Indian rupee ended higher at 94.19 per dollar on Monday versus Friday's close of 94.25.

Among the sectors, most of the indices traded in the green, with the Nifty private bank index being the only laggard, as the IndusInd Bank shares rose about 4 percent.

On Nifty, 39 stocks ended in the green and 11 ended in the red. Among the top gainers were Sun Pharma, Jio Financial Services, and Reliance Industries, gaining over 3pc while Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, and HCLTech also posted gains. Shri...
