Parbhani (Maharashtra), July 11 -- Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil has announced a march to the Maharashtra Mantralaya on August 29, demanding the implementation of two key demands -- a blanket reservation for the Maratha community under the OBC category and the enforcement of the ordinance regarding kinship ('sagesoyare') benefits.
Addressing a 'Chavdi Sabha (community gathering) in Dharsur village of Gangakhed taluka, Jarange urged community members to gather in Mumbai for two days and promised, "On the third day, we will celebrate victory with colors of triumph." He expressed confidence that the rally will see a massive participation from Marathas.
