New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- The 2006 comedy Bhagam Bhag, starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal, became an instant hit thanks to its on-screen chemistry, sharp dialogues, and chaotic slapstick humor. Over the years, it has earned a cult status in Bollywood's comedy genre.
Two decades later, the franchise is returning with "Bhagam Bhag 2", though with changes in both cast and creative team.
Variety India reports that Manoj Bajpayee will join Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, replacing Govinda. The sequel is said to follow a fresh storyline featuring mistaken identities, comedy of errors, and escalating chaos, promising a madcap adventure while retaining the spirit of the original. Shooting is scheduled to begin next month in Mumbai.
