Imphal, Jan. 28 -- The Manipur Police Department has set up a toll-free narcotics helpline to combat drug trafficking and smuggling across the state, authorities said, as officers conducted several operations resulting in significant seizures and arrests, police said on Wednesday.
The dedicated helpline number, 1800-345-1934, is now operational round-the-clock to receive citizen complaints related to drug trafficking and related criminal activities.
Police officers are urging all residents, including government employees, to promptly report suspicious incidents and cooperate with law enforcement efforts.
