Imphal, Feb. 2 -- Most of the NDA MLAs from Manipur are currently in the national capital to meet central leaders and discuss the possible formation of a popular government in the state.
The one year of President's Rule in Manipur is set to end on February 13, and any extension would require both the announcement of an emergency and a declaration by the Election Commission that holding elections in the state is not feasible.
