Kamjong (Imphal), Sept. 23 -- In a move aimed at mainstreaming marginalized communities, the Kamjong District Administration today launched a pilot mission of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan (AKA) at Thoyee Village Community Hall.
The event was attended by HL Jain, SDO/ADC Kamjong District, who is the District Nodal Officer for the programme, and Nimmi Khamrang, SDO Phungyar, the Block Nodal Officer.
Villagers of Thoyee, including the village headman, also took part in the programme.
Welcoming the initiative, the village headman of Thoyee expressed gratitude for selecting Thoyee as the model village for the mission and hoped that the programme would bring "radical change" to the community.
