Shimla, Aug. 18 -- Himachal Pradesh continues to reel under the devastating impact of the ongoing monsoon season, with fresh reports highlighting widespread destruction to lives, property, and public infrastructure.
As per the State Emergency Operation Centre, the cumulative death toll since June 20 has risen to 263, while 332 persons have been injured and 37 remain missing due to rain-related incidents across the state.
During past 24 hrs rising of water level in local rivulets and increasing discharge of Satluj washed away several roads and muck and debris disrupting vehicular traffic in many places in Mandi, Kullu, Kinnaur and Shimla district.
