Moradabad, Feb. 13 -- A man allegedly shot his mother-in-law dead following a minor argument in the Majhola police station area of Moradabad, police said on Friday.
The accused, identified as Gulnawaz, had married the victim Rukhsana's daughter, Sahiba, four years ago. Due to ongoing disputes, Sahiba had been staying at her parental home.
On the night of the incident on Thursday, Gulnawaz arrived at his in-laws' house with his associate, Mustafa. He was reportedly under the influence of alcohol and frequently argued over money matters.
An argument broke out while Rukhsana was in the kitchen. In a fit of rage, Gulnawaz allegedly shot her near the neck with an illegal firearm. She was rushed to the district hospital, where doctors declared...
