Jhansi, April 24 -- A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 42-year-old man, Arvind Ahirwar, turning a family's wedding celebrations into mourning.
The incident occurred near Lohia bridge in the Mauranipur police station area, officials said on Friday.
Ahirwar, a resident of Harpura village, was on his way to Bermpura to distribute wedding invitations for his son's upcoming wedding scheduled for May 5. His motorcycle collided with another bike coming from the opposite direction, resulting in his death on the spot on Thursday evening.
Two individuals on the other motorcycle, identified as Manoj Kumar and Vipin from Egoi Kala village in Jalaun district, sustained serious injuries.
